TGT Social Science Teacher Job in West Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Gd Goenka La Petite | Janakpuri seeks a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to inspire students with engaging lessons in history, geography, economics, and current affairs. Role
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science, ensuring alignment with the CBSE curriculum. Incorporate real-world examples and multimedia to make complex topics accessible to students. Collaborate with the curriculum team to design innovative teaching strategies for grades 9-12.
Qualification
Must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Social Science or a related field. Experience in teaching Social Science at the secondary level is highly valued. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Proven teaching experience of at least three years in Social Science, preferably in a school environment. Familiarity with modern teaching tools and assessment techniques is essential. Experience working with diverse student backgrounds is a plus.
Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans that integrate local history, geography, and contemporary issues relevant to Delhi’s context. Engage students through projects, debates, and field trips to enhance learning. Maintain a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
Teaching Focus
Emphasize the importance of Social Science as a foundation for civic awareness and global understanding. Use case studies from Delhi’s history, such as freedom struggles or urban development, to connect theory with practical applications. Stay updated on educational trends and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Work Environment
