Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging social science lessons that cater to the needs of different learners
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social responsibility and empathy
- Use differentiated instruction to support students with varying learning needs
- Develop and implement assessments that evaluate student learning and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide social science curriculum
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in social science education
- Participate in school-wide events and activities that promote social responsibility and community engagement
- Develop and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Science or related field (MA, M.Com, M.Sc)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree required for teaching positions
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
Preferred Skills
- Experience in teaching social science to students from diverse learning levels
- Familiarity with inclusive pedagogy and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school administrators
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to social responsibility
