1. Plan, prepare and deliver Social Science lessons as per NCERT syllabus for classes IX‑XII.
2. Conduct interactive sessions on History, Geography, Civics and Economics to engage diverse learners.
3. Assess student performance through tests, projects and oral presentations, and maintain accurate records.
4. Organize co‑curricular activities such as debates, model UN and field trips related to social studies.
5. Provide remedial support and counseling to students lagging behind the curriculum.
6. Collaborate with department heads and senior teachers for curriculum mapping and exam preparation.
7. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings and school events to communicate student progress.
8. Uphold school discipline and contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting is required. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong command of English and Hindi, along with proficiency in using digital teaching tools, is essential.
Salary and location
The position offers a salary of Rs.22,000 - Rs.35,000 per month and is located in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi at Rp Memorial Sr. Sec. Public School.
