Role Summary

Pedagogy and Tools
Our school uses smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate blended learning. We believe in incorporating technology into our teaching methods to engage students and make learning more interactive. As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be expected to use these tools to create engaging lesson plans and assessments. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Social Science to students across various classes, including class 6 to 10.
- Prepare and deliver lessons on Social Science topics, incorporating multimedia elements and interactive activities.
- Use online teaching tools, such as Google Classroom and LMS, to create and share resources, assignments, and feedback.
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities and events.
- Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher meetings and open houses.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a focus on Social Science. Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
