Dance Teacher Job in Ahemdabad, Gujarat | School Vacancy
Responsibilities
The incumbent will lead the school’s dance program, planning and organising events, workshops and annual performances. Coordination with the cultural department and external artists will be essential to maintain a vibrant extracurricular calendar. The role includes budgeting for costumes, equipment and venue rentals, as well as maintaining records of student participation and progress.
The post also involves mentoring students, guiding them in technique and stage presence, and ensuring safety standards during rehearsals. Reporting to the principal, the candidate will prepare periodic updates on program outcomes and suggest improvements to enhance student engagement.
Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in any relevant discipline is required, preferably with a background in performing arts. Candidates should possess at least two years of experience managing dance activities in an educational setting. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is desirable, and holding TET/CTET will be considered an advantage.
The applicant must demonstrate strong organisational skills, ability to work with diverse age groups, and a passion for cultural development within a school environment.
Salary
The remuneration for this full‑time position ranges from Rs.20,000 to Rs.36,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
