PRT English Teacher Position at Geneva Liberal School, Ahmedabad
Geneva Liberal School in Ahmedabad seeks a dedicated PRT English Teacher to join its vibrant primary classroom. This role focuses on fostering language skills and literacy among young learners through engaging, interactive lessons. The teacher will deliver structured English classes, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing, while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
The PRT will prepare lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate content and practical application. Daily classroom management, student assessment, and feedback will be key responsibilities. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school events will also be part of the role.
To qualify, a graduate degree with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in English, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be highly beneficial.
This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a progressive, student-centered environment in Ahmedabad.
