What is this role?
Podar International School needs a PRT English Teacher to join its dynamic teaching team. The role focuses on delivering engaging English lessons to students across multiple grades while supporting classroom management and curriculum implementation.
What will I actually do?
You will design lesson plans that align with the school’s standards, deliver interactive lessons, and assess student progress. Classroom activities will include reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises. You will also collaborate with senior teachers to integrate cross‑curricular projects and participate in school meetings and parent‑teacher interactions.
What do I need to qualify?
A graduate degree is required, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed for teaching positions. TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory. A strong command of the English language and familiarity with modern teaching tools will be essential.
What experience is expected?
A minimum of three years of teaching experience is expected. Experience in a similar school environment or with diverse student groups will be an advantage. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive learning environment is important.
What does it pay?
Salary ranges from Rs.17,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
