Students will be guided through vocal and instrumental techniques, rhythm exercises, and basic music notation. The teacher will organize and conduct school concerts, cultural events, and inter-school competitions, ensuring students gain confidence and stage presence. Regular assessment of student progress through quizzes, recitals, and portfolio reviews will be conducted. Collaboration with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects, such as drama and art, is expected. Classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere are essential, as is the use of modern audio-visual tools to enhance instruction. The teacher will also mentor younger colleagues and contribute to faculty meetings, sharing best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a graduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in music is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students of diverse backgrounds are essential. Candidates should be familiar with contemporary and classical Indian music styles and comfortable using digital music software.
