Job Description
Satdham Vidyamandir | Ahmedabad seeks a dedicated PRT Sanskrit Teacher to inspire young minds with the rich cultural heritage of ancient Indian scriptures. This role demands a passion for Sanskrit language and literature, blending traditional pedagogy with modern classroom engagement. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm to teach students from Class I to VIII, ensuring age-appropriate learning through interactive methods.
Teaching duties will include designing lesson plans that align with school syllabi while incorporating Vedic traditions and classical poetry. Daily classroom interaction with students will require patience, clarity, and a deep understanding of grammar, prosody, and classical texts like the Rigveda and Mahabharata. Experience in creating engaging storybooks or drama-based lessons would be highly valued.
Assessment will focus on oral proficiency, comprehension, and creative expression. Regular evaluations will measure students’ grasp of Sanskrit vocabulary, script, and cultural context. The teacher must also mentor younger students, fostering a love for the language through storytelling and group activities.
Satdham Vidyamandir | Ahmedabad values teachers who bridge tradition with contemporary education. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least three years of teaching experience in Sanskrit is essential. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior experience in Gujarat schools will be an asset.
