Shree Swaminarayan Gadi International Techno School in Ahmedabad is seeking a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop active, healthy students through engaging sports and fitness programs. The TGT Physical Education Teacher will design and implement daily physical education classes, ensuring age-appropriate activities that promote fitness, coordination, and sportsmanship. This includes organizing games like cricket, basketball, volleyball, and track events, while adapting lessons for students of varying skill levels. The teacher must also supervise extracurricular sports teams, such as football, badminton, or athletics, ensuring fair play and adherence to school rules. Coordination with the school’s infrastructure team will be necessary to maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and well-equipped environment for all activities.
Beyond classroom instruction, the teacher will mentor students in leadership roles, such as captaining teams or organizing inter-house competitions. They will also collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into broader academic goals, such as promoting discipline and resilience. Participation in school events, like sports festivals or health awareness campaigns, will be a key part of the role. The teacher must maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and participation to support reporting and future planning.
The successful candidate will hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in physical education or related subjects. A strong foundation in sports science, knowledge of Gujarat’s school curriculum for physical education, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and motivating environment are essential. Experience in teaching students from diverse backgrounds will be highly valued.
