Professional Expectations
The PGT Hindi Teacher at Vidyamandir Trust is expected to uphold the school’s academic standards by fostering a disciplined learning environment in Palanpur. Subject‑specific Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons for classes VII to X, designing lesson plans that align with the state board syllabus, and incorporating modern teaching aids such as digital media and interactive quizzes. The teacher will mentor junior faculty, supervise student Hindi clubs, and coordinate inter‑school Hindi competitions. Emphasis on literary analysis of classical and contemporary Hindi works is required.
Assessment and Practical Work
Students will be evaluated through continuous assessment, mid‑term and final exams, and project work. The teacher will design essay topics, literary critique assignments, and creative writing projects that reflect local themes. Practical work such as drama presentations, debate sessions, and poetry recitations will be organized to enhance oral proficiency. Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Hindi or related field mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must possess strong command over Hindi language skills, both written and spoken, and familiarity with Hindi educational resources.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting is required. Experience in conducting Hindi exams and managing classroom activities will be considered an advantage. Demonstrated ability to use technology in teaching Hindi is desirable.
