PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Gandhinagar, Gujarat | School Recruitment
Hillwoods School | Gandhinagar invites qualified candidates for the PRT Computer Science Teacher position to join its dynamic academic environment. This role focuses on delivering engaging Computer Science lessons while fostering a hands-on learning experience for students. The teacher will work closely with Hillwoods School’s curriculum to ensure alignment with modern educational standards.
Daily Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science fundamentals, including programming basics, algorithms, and digital literacy, to students in a structured classroom setting. Prepare and deliver interactive lessons using visual aids, coding platforms, and real-world examples relevant to Gujarat’s tech-driven industries. Monitor student progress during practical sessions, ensuring they grasp core concepts like Python, Java, or web development. Assist students with troubleshooting basic coding errors and encourage collaborative problem-solving in small groups.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans based on Hillwoods School’s syllabus while incorporating recent advancements in Computer Science education. Organize weekly lab sessions to reinforce coding skills through projects, quizzes, and hands-on exercises. Collaborate with the Computer Science faculty to refine teaching methods and share best practices for engaging younger learners. Attend school meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student performance trends in Computer Science.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student understanding of Computer Science concepts, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Participate in school events like coding workshops or robotics competitions to showcase Hillwoods School’s Computer Science programs. Maintain organized records of student progress, attendance, and participation in Computer Science activities.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. Possess a strong foundation in programming languages, computer hardware, and software development principles. Three years of teaching experience in Computer Science or a relevant subject is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, along with benefits tailored to Gujarat’s educational standards. This position is based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, at Hillwoods School, where a supportive and innovative learning environment awaits.
