Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver lessons on Social Science to students in classes 6 to 8
2. Create engaging and interactive teaching materials to enhance student learning
3. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and procedures
6. Participate in school events and activities to promote student learning and engagement
7. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
8. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
9. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Social Science education
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed in Social Science or related field
- TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred)
Good to Have:
- Experience of teaching Social Science to students in classes 6 to 8
- Familiarity with curriculum and assessment frameworks in Social Science education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
