PGT Zoology Teacher – Shri O P Jindal Vidya Niketan, Mundra, Kachchh, Gujarat
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the Zoology curriculum for Classes IX‑XII in alignment with the school’s academic calendar.
Design laboratory experiments that illustrate animal physiology, taxonomy, ecology and genetics, ensuring safety and learning outcomes.
Assess student performance through written tests, practical exams and projects, providing constructive feedback to improve understanding.
Organise field trips and biodiversity surveys in the local region to give students hands‑on exposure to native fauna.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and lab inventories, and coordinate with the science department for interdisciplinary activities.
Mentor students for science fairs and Olympiads, guiding research topics that relate to zoological studies.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Zoology or a related biological science.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
CTET/TET qualification is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a recognized school, with demonstrable success in conducting practical sessions and student assessments.
Salary
Rs.35,000 – Rs.45,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
