TGT Social Science Teacher Position at Shri O P Jindal Vidya Niketan in Mundra
Shri O P Jindal Vidya Niketan invites experienced educators to join as a TGT Social Science Teacher in its Mundra campus. This role focuses on delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons across history, geography, civics, and economics for Class 9 to 12 students. The school values dynamic teaching methods that foster critical thinking and a deeper understanding of social dynamics.
The teacher will plan and conduct daily lessons, ensuring alignment with the Gujarat Board syllabus. They must assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including homework, projects, and periodic tests. Collaborating with the principal and subject coordinators to refine teaching strategies is essential. The role also involves preparing lesson plans, maintaining student records, and participating in departmental meetings. Maintaining a positive classroom environment that encourages respect and curiosity is key.
A graduate in Social Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. A postgraduate in Social Science or related fields is preferred. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Social Science, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a passion for shaping young minds in a diverse educational setting.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 in Mundra, Kachchh, Gujarat.
