Core duties
Teaching Computer Science at the senior secondary level, covering topics like programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and emerging technologies.
Designing and implementing interactive projects, coding challenges, and lab-based activities to enhance practical skills.
Assisting students with assignments, coding assignments, and troubleshooting technical issues in a supportive classroom setting.
Participating in departmental meetings to review teaching strategies and align with school-wide educational goals.
Supporting students in extracurricular tech clubs or competitions, such as coding Olympiads or robotics events.
Qualification and experience
A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
Minimum three years of teaching experience in Computer Science or a relevant subject at the secondary or senior secondary level.
Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for the role.
Certification like TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
