Green Wood International School invites applications for a PGT History Teacher to join its Rajkot campus. This role focuses on delivering engaging history lessons aligned with the latest Gujarat curriculum while fostering critical thinking among students. To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a relevant postgraduate qualification in History. Experience in teaching at the secondary or senior secondary level is essential, particularly in schools with a diverse student body. A passion for history education and the ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning levels will be highly valued.
The PGT History Teacher will prepare lesson plans, conduct classroom activities, and assess student performance using structured evaluation criteria. Collaboration with the history department and participation in school events, such as cultural fairs and heritage workshops, is part of the role. The salary for this position ranges from Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
