Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Physical Education to students in grades 6 to 12, ensuring age-appropriate activities and skill development. Design and implement structured lesson plans covering fundamental sports, fitness routines, and team games like cricket, basketball, and athletics.
Monitor student participation, track progress, and provide constructive feedback on performance. Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper storage, repair, and availability for classes.
Coordinate with school management to align PE curriculum with academic goals and student well-being standards. Organize extracurricular sports events and inter-school competitions to promote team spirit and healthy competition.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of student attendance, performance evaluations, and any incidents related to sports activities.
Eligibility
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, followed by a Master’s degree in Physical Education or a relevant subject. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the post.
Four years of teaching experience in Physical Education at the secondary level is mandatory. Experience in managing diverse student groups and adapting activities for different skill levels is highly valued.
Employment Details
This is a full-time position based in Rajkot, Gujarat. The monthly salary package ranges from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
