Job Role
Greenwood International School in Rajkot, Gujarat is hiring a PRT General Knowledge Teacher. The role involves delivering General Knowledge lessons to primary classes on a full‑time basis.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily General Knowledge sessions aligned with the school curriculum. Prepare worksheets, visual aids and simple assessments to gauge student understanding. Maintain classroom discipline, record attendance and update progress reports regularly. Coordinate with senior teachers for interdisciplinary activities and participate in parent‑teacher meetings when required.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Good command of English and Hindi for effective classroom communication.
Experience
At least two years of relevant teaching experience in a school setting, handling classes up to standard V.
Salary
Rs.15,000 - Rs.27,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
