Maintain organized classroom materials and resources to facilitate smooth teaching.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans that integrate current events, historical context, and real-world applications in social science. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to align teaching methods with school curriculum guidelines. Participate in weekly departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student performance trends. Ensure students meet academic benchmarks through regular assessments and homework assignments.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly review sessions to assess student learning outcomes and adjust teaching approaches as necessary. Organize occasional guest lectures or field trips to provide hands-on learning experiences in social science topics. Contribute to school events, such as cultural fairs or awareness campaigns, by designing related activities or presentations.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as mandatory qualifications. Preference may be given to candidates with teaching experience in social science or a TET/CTET certificate. Two years of relevant teaching experience is required for this role.
Salary and Location
