Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher required at Patanjali School in Rajkot to deliver engaging classroom instruction in Social Science for Class 6 to 8 students. The role demands expertise in history, geography, and civics to ensure age-appropriate learning aligned with the Gujarat curriculum.
Teaching duties include delivering structured lessons, using interactive teaching methods to enhance student understanding of key concepts like political systems, cultural diversity, and historical events. The teacher will prepare and deliver weekly assessments to evaluate comprehension and progress in social studies topics.
Engaging students through real-world examples and discussions on current social issues will be a key part of the role. The teacher must maintain a supportive learning environment while adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in Social Science is preferred. TET or CTET certification is not required but will be an added advantage. The position offers a monthly salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 for a full-time commitment.
