Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
Teach core Evs courses to graduate and postgraduate students at Gd Goenka International School. Plan and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions aligned with university curriculum. Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
Design and update Evs syllabi in compliance with UGC and state norms. Prepare teaching materials including lesson plans, case studies, and digital resources. Conduct periodic curriculum reviews to reflect current environmental science trends.
Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects and dissertations. Supervise lab work, field studies, and data collection activities. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Organize workshops, guest lectures, and outreach programs on environmental awareness. Collaborate with industry partners and NGOs for internship and placement opportunities. Participate in university committees for accreditation and quality assurance.
Master Level Teaching
Teach specialized Evs electives at master’s level including environmental pollution, climate change, and sustainable development. Guide master’s students in thesis writing and project execution. Coordinate with senior faculty to align master level courses with research priorities.
Facilitate interdisciplinary learning by linking Evs concepts with geography, chemistry, and social sciences. Encourage student participation in national and international seminars and conferences. Support publication of student research in peer-reviewed journals.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science or related discipline with minimum 55% marks. NET/SLET qualified or Ph.D. in Evs from a recognized university. Three years of full-time teaching experience in a university or reputed college.
Minimum three publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last five years. Experience in curriculum development and student mentoring. Familiarity with UGC norms and Gujarat state education policies.
