Job Overview
The Assistant Robotics Teacher will support the Head Robotics Teacher in delivering hands-on sessions for middle and senior school students. Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and conduct robotics sessions twice a week for two different grade clusters.
Demonstrate sensor integration, motor control, and basic AI concepts using age-appropriate projects.
Organize and supervise after-school robotics clubs that meet three times a week.
Assist in procuring, cataloguing, and storing robotics kits and spare parts.
Guide students in troubleshooting hardware and software issues during class.
Collaborate with the science and math departments to link robotics concepts to curriculum topics.
Document student progress through simple rubrics and share feedback with parents.
Participate in quarterly parent demo days to showcase student projects.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Engineering or Technology with robotics as a subject or relevant elective.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching robotics or related STEM subjects in a school.
Familiarity with Arduino IDE, Scratch, Python, and basic electronics prototyping.
Preference for candidates with TET/CTET certification.
