PRT Science Teacher Position at Ethical Public School, Surat

Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the curriculum, ensuring clear explanations and interactive activities. Prepare classroom materials, including experiments and demonstrations, to enhance student understanding. Monitor student progress during lessons and address any questions or difficulties promptly. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space for effective teaching and learning.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Collaborate with the science department to align teaching methods with school-wide educational goals. Participate in weekly planning sessions to refine lesson plans and share best practices with colleagues. Assess student performance through regular quizzes, projects, and observations to track progress. Attend staff meetings and departmental discussions to stay updated on school policies and curriculum updates.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Organize science-related extracurricular activities, such as workshops or science fairs, to encourage hands-on learning. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks and digital materials, to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a graduate degree in science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in science, is required. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a commitment to nurturing young minds are essential.
Salary and Location
