Role Summary
Gd Goenka International School invites applications for a full-time TGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team in Surat City, Surat, Gujarat. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chemistry teacher who can deliver practical and engaging lessons to our students.
Teaching Approach

Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Chemistry Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering detailed lesson plans for Chemistry classes
- Conducting experiments and demonstrations in the lab to illustrate complex concepts
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining accurate records of student assessments and grades
- Participating in parent-teacher meetings and conferences
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Chemistry education and pedagogy
- Managing classroom resources and materials
- Assisting with extracurricular activities and events related to Chemistry
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc or M.A.)
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry syllabi and curriculum
- Experience in teaching Chemistry at the school level
Preferred Skills
- Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Chemistry lessons
- Familiarity with the Gujarat State syllabus and curriculum
- Experience with lab safety and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary and Benefits
