Role Summary
The TGT Physics Teacher will join a vibrant community of students at Delhi Public School Surat, where they will inspire and educate young minds to excel in the subject of Physics. As a Physics Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the scientific understanding and curiosity of students in Surat.
Your Students
You will be working with students from classes 6 to 10, nurturing their interest in Physics and fostering a love for learning. Your students will look up to you for guidance, support, and inspiration, and you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for Physics classes, aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Conduct regular classes, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Conduct tests, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student understanding of Physics concepts.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to parents and school authorities.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and promote a holistic learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, such as science fairs, projects, and competitions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Physics or a related field (preferably).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- TET or CTET certification is not mandatory, but preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Ability to engage students in active learning and hands-on activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with technology and educational software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school administrators.
