Daily work involves designing and delivering engaging physics lessons to class‑six to class‑ten students, using interactive demonstrations and modern teaching aids to make concepts accessible and exciting.
Scope of the Role
The role covers teaching core physics topics across multiple grades, aligning classroom activities with the state curriculum and national educational standards. The teacher also participates in school science fairs, extracurricular clubs, and parent‑teacher meetings to promote a holistic learning environment.
Core Academic Duties
Prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures, and facilitate laboratory experiments that illustrate fundamental principles of physics. Maintain a safe and organized lab space, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and stored properly. Use visual aids, simulations, and real‑life examples to enhance comprehension and spark curiosity among students.
Assessment and Planning Duties
Develop formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, projects, and practical tests, to gauge student understanding and progress. Analyze results to identify learning gaps and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Coordinate with fellow teachers to ensure interdisciplinary coherence and support student learning trajectories.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Physics or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of three years teaching experience at the school level, with a proven record of improving student outcomes in physics.
Salary and Location
