Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Computer Science curriculum that aligns with the school's vision and goals.
- Teach Computer Science to students in grades 9 to 12, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Use online resources and digital tools to create engaging lesson plans and assessments.
- Integrate technology into the classroom, using resources such as Google Classroom and LMS to facilitate online learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive Computer Science program that meets the needs of all students.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science and incorporate relevant topics into the curriculum.
- Supervise students during computer labs and ensure their safety while using technology.
- Develop and maintain a Computer Science resource room with necessary equipment and software.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching positions. TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not required.
Preferred Skills
We are looking for candidates with strong digital literacy skills and experience with online teaching tools. Familiarity with LMS, Google Classroom, and other educational software is a plus.
