About This Role
This is a senior-level Art And Craft teaching position at Fellowship Mission School where the role goes beyond classroom instruction. The selected candidate will lead the Art And Craft department for PRT classes and guide junior staff. The position offers an opportunity to shape the visual arts curriculum in Vapi and Valsad. Responsibilities include curriculum design, student assessment, and board result improvement.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver structured Art And Craft lessons for PRT students aligned with school standards. Develop age-appropriate projects that integrate drawing, painting, clay modeling, and craft techniques. Monitor student progress through periodic evaluations and maintain portfolios for each class.
Create monthly Art And Craft themes that connect with festivals and local cultural events in Vapi and Valsad. Organize inter-house art competitions and display student work in school corridors and auditoriums. Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate art across subjects like EVS and language.
Mentor newly joined Art And Craft teachers and conduct demonstration lessons for them. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to showcase student artworks and explain learning outcomes. Use simple classroom management tools to maintain discipline and cleanliness during art activities.
Who Can Apply
Graduates in Fine Arts or Visual Arts with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification are eligible. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Art And Craft for PRT classes is required. Fellowship Mission School values teachers who have worked in similar school environments.
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed TET or CTET. Experience in curriculum development and student portfolio management will be an advantage. Familiarity with Gujarat state board or CBSE syllabus for art subjects is desirable.
