About This Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced TGT Art And Craft Teacher to lead our Art and Craft department. As a TGT Art And Craft Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Art and Craft lessons to students from grades 6-12. You will have the opportunity to inspire creativity, develop fine motor skills, and foster self-expression in our students. Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons to students from grades 6-12
- Develop and implement innovative Art and Craft projects that promote critical thinking and creativity
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Art and Craft with other subjects and disciplines
- Maintain a safe and organized Art and Craft studio, ensuring that all materials and equipment are in good condition
- Supervise students during Art and Craft activities, providing guidance and support as needed
- Participate in school-wide events and exhibitions, showcasing student artwork and promoting the Art and Craft program
- Develop and implement new Art and Craft curriculum, aligning with national and state-level guidelines
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and provide feedback on Art and Craft work
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Art and Craft or a related field
- TET or CTET certification (not mandatory, but preferred)
- 3 years of experience teaching Art and Craft in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Art and Craft pedagogy, including curriculum design and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
