Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive E Commerce lessons aligned with the state syllabus, ensuring concepts such as business law, taxation, and financial accounting are clear and relevant.
- Integrate practical case studies and current market trends to make theory relatable, encouraging students to apply knowledge in real‑world scenarios.
- Prepare and assess a variety of assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing detailed feedback that supports student growth.
- Mentor students in project work, including business plan development and e‑commerce simulations, fostering analytical and entrepreneurial skills.
- Coordinate with the school’s academic committee to update curriculum materials and incorporate new teaching resources.
- Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to school initiatives, and support extracurricular activities related to commerce education.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage student behavior, and promote inclusive learning for diverse learners.
- Utilize technology such as interactive whiteboards, online platforms, and accounting software to enhance instructional delivery.
- Engage parents through regular communication, sharing progress reports and addressing concerns about student performance.
- Stay current with changes in commerce education standards and industry developments, attending workshops and seminars as needed.
Qualification and experience
PGT level qualification in Commerce or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory. Minimum four years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting. Demonstrated ability to use technology in teaching and a record of improving student outcomes.
Salary and location
