Career Defence School, Ambala Cantt, has an immediate requirement for a qualified PGT English Teacher to strengthen its senior secondary wing. The English Teacher Job in Ambala has become critical with rising student numbers in grades XI–XII, so the right candidate can step in quickly and start making an impact.

The role involves teaching core English literature and language to classes XI–XII as per CBSE guidelines. You will plan daily lessons, design structured assessments, and maintain accurate records of attendance and marks. Regular parent-teacher interactions in Ambala Cantt are part of the job to keep families informed. You will also prepare students for board exams and competitive English tests that Career Defence School emphasizes. Participation in morning assembly presentations and English club activities is expected. Occasional coordination with the activity department for inter-house literary events will be required. Keeping the classroom library updated with relevant titles is another responsibility.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in English with B.Ed. D.El.Ed is acceptable if combined with a postgraduate English degree. Prior teaching experience of at least three years in a senior secondary school is mandatory. Familiarity with CBSE exam patterns and classroom technology will be an advantage.

Career Defence School offers a full-time position with a salary of Rs.35,000 – Rs.60,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
