The reality of this role
A typical day at Tejas Public School involves guiding classes of 30‑40 students through basic programming, digital literacy and problem‑solving activities. You will prepare lesson plans, conduct lab sessions and assess student work using school‑provided resources. Interaction with parents during PTMs and coordinating with senior staff are part of the routine. What you will actually do
- Deliver the prescribed Computer Science curriculum for primary and secondary classes.
- Conduct practical lab sessions on coding, internet safety and use of educational software.
- Prepare worksheets, quizzes and project assignments aligned with the state syllabus.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments and practical exams.
- Provide extra help and remedial classes for students who need additional support.
- Organize inter‑school coding competitions and tech fairs.
- Maintain attendance registers, lesson logs and lab inventory.
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school development programmes.
Who can do this job
- Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a school setting.
- TET/CTET qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid teaching certificate as per Haryana regulations.

- Strong command of basic programming languages such as Scratch, Python or HTML/CSS.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
