Leadership Opportunity
Asa Ram Sr. Sec. Public School invites a dynamic educator to lead its Computer Science department while teaching TGT classes. This role offers the chance to shape curriculum, mentor junior staff and eventually take on the Head of Department position. Strategic Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the Computer Science syllabus for TGT classes in line with state guidelines.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes.
- Introduce project‑based learning, coding clubs and inter‑school tech competitions.
- Coordinate with the principal and senior faculty to align ICT initiatives with the school’s overall vision.
- Mentor new teachers, conduct pedagogical workshops and facilitate peer‑learning sessions.
- Lead the development of a digital resource bank for the school’s faculty.
- Oversee the maintenance of computer labs, ensuring hardware and software are up‑to‑date.
- Participate in school committees, contributing to policy decisions on curriculum and student welfare.
- Represent Asa Ram Sr. Sec. Public School in community outreach programs promoting STEM education.
What You Bring
A post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or related field with B.Ed/D.El.Ed certification. Minimum two years of classroom experience teaching Computer Science at the TGT level. CTET or TET qualification is preferred. Proven ability to lead a team, manage projects and drive academic excellence. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, and familiarity with the latest educational technologies.
