Core responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics for classes VI to VIII.
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments that reflect student growth.
- Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, providing constructive feedback on student development.
- Organize and supervise school field trips related to social science themes.
- Contribute to the development of annual school events such as World Environment Day and National Heritage Month.
- Collaborate with peers to create interdisciplinary units that link social science with other subjects.
- Stay updated on educational trends and incorporate best practices into teaching.
What you bring to the table
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Post‑graduate degree in Social Sciences or related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Strong command of Hindi and English, with excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to create inclusive learning environments and manage diverse classroom dynamics.
