Job Description
This is a full-time PGT Mathematics Teacher position at Woxy Science Competition Classes | Bhiwani, where you’ll lead high school mathematics classes and inspire students through innovative teaching methods. The role focuses on preparing students for board exams and competitive entrance tests, aligning with the curriculum while adapting lessons to engage diverse learning levels.
You’ll teach core mathematics subjects like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus, often tailoring explanations to common student struggles. Your work includes preparing students for exams like JEE, NEET, and state board tests, ensuring they grasp both theory and problem-solving skills. You’ll also assist in organizing science competitions and workshops, leveraging your expertise to boost student performance in STEM fields.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics. While TET/CTET certification isn’t mandatory, it’s highly valued for career progression. A strong academic background in mathematics, preferably with a master’s or equivalent, is essential.
For this role, 4 years of teaching experience—preferably at the high school level—is required. Experience with exam-oriented teaching, particularly in competitive exams, is a plus. Your ability to simplify complex concepts and motivate students in a competitive environment will be critical.
The salary for this PGT Mathematics Teacher position is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, with potential for performance-based increments. The role is based in Bhiwani, Haryana, and you’ll report to the school management, working closely with curriculum coordinators and other faculty members.
