Prepare and maintain comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and student progress records. Act as a mentor to guide students in research projects and extracurricular activities related to biology, including participation in science fairs and inter-school competitions.
Qualifications
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field from a recognized university. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for teaching positions at this level. Experience in teaching Zoology at the senior secondary level is highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the school level, preferably in a science stream. Familiarity with modern educational technologies and classroom management techniques is beneficial. Knowledge of state-level education boards and exam patterns will be an asset.
Salary and Employment
