Role Summary
St. Columbus School, a progressive educational institution in Faridabad, Haryana, is seeking a full-time NTT Mathematics Teacher to join its academic team. The appointee will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from classes 6 to 8. The successful candidate will be expected to use modern teaching tools and techniques to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a Mathematics Teacher in St. Columbus School, you will be required to integrate technology into your teaching practices. The school uses smart boards, Google Classroom, and a Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance the learning experience. You will be expected to use these tools to create blended learning experiences for your students. You will also be required to use online resources and digital tools to supplement your teaching.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a full-time Mathematics Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Planning and delivering Mathematics lessons to students from classes 6 to 8
- Using technology to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum
- Using digital tools to communicate with students and parents
- Participating in school events and activities
- Conducting remedial classes for students who require extra support
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree or equivalent
- Valid D.El.Ed or CTET certification (preferably)
- 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students from classes 6 to 8
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy and familiarity with online teaching tools
- Ability to use Google Classroom and other LMS platforms
- Experience in using smart boards and other digital tools
- Familiarity with online resources and digital tools for Mathematics education
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.17,000 - Rs.34,000 per month, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, the appointee will also be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, leave travel allowance, and other perks as per school policy.
