PGT Economics Teacher Position at Delhi Scholars International School, Faridabad
Delhi Scholars International School in Faridabad seeks a dedicated PGT Economics Teacher to join their faculty. This role focuses on delivering high-quality economics instruction at the senior secondary level, ensuring students grasp key concepts like macroeconomics, microeconomics, and financial theory. Core Responsibilities
Design and deliver advanced economics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, covering topics such as economic growth, development policies, and global trade. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and teaching aids tailored to diverse student learning needs. Engage students in interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to deepen understanding of economic theories.
Additional Duties
Collaborate with the economics department to develop interdisciplinary projects, such as simulations on financial markets or policy analysis. Actively participate in school-wide academic events, including workshops and guest lectures on emerging economic trends. Support extracurricular activities related to economics, such as model rallies or business competitions, to foster holistic learning.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field with at least two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not explicitly required, experience in assessing student performance through exams and projects is beneficial.
