About This Role
We are looking for a seasoned PGT Economics teacher to lead the Economics department at St. Columbus School, Faridabad, Haryana. As a senior member of the school's faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Economics to students from Class XI to Class XII and guiding them to excel in the subject.
What You Will Do
As PGT Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching Economics to students from Class XI to Class XII and guiding them to excel in the subject.
- Preparing and delivering lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to help students achieve academic excellence.
- Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Developing and implementing curriculum to meet the changing needs of students and the school.
- Mentoring junior staff members and providing guidance and support to help them improve their teaching skills.
- Collaborating with other department heads to develop and implement school policies and programs.
- Analyzing board results to identify areas of improvement and developing strategies to enhance student performance.
- Participating in school events and activities to promote a culture of excellence and academic rigor.
- Maintaining student records, attendance, and progress reports as required by the school.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Economics and incorporating them into the curriculum.
- Developing and implementing extracurricular activities to promote student engagement and interest in Economics.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Economics (M.A. or M.Sc.) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. certificate and five years of teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified for NET or SET. You should also have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to academic excellence.
