Day-to-Day Duties

Provide focused guidance for board examination preparation, including sample papers, revision drills, and mock tests. Monitor student progress through regular assessments and offer remedial support where needed.
Lead the History department by designing inter-house quizzes, heritage walks, and inter-school competitions. Collaborate with senior faculty to review syllabus coverage and suggest improvements in teaching methodology.
Organize seminars on Indian freedom struggle, world wars, and cultural heritage to enrich classroom learning. Maintain student portfolios, project records, and attendance registers as per school protocols.
Coordinate with the school library to procure reference books and digital resources for History. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic performance and behavioral observations.
Contribute to school events such as Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations through thematic presentations. Engage with local museums and archives to organize educational field visits for students.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in History with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this History Teacher Job in Faridabad.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in History at the senior secondary level. TET or CTET certification will be preferred but not mandatory.
