- Plan and deliver lessons to students in Home Science, covering topics such as nutrition, textiles, and family management.
- Use digital tools to create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curricula that align with the NCERT guidelines and state board requirements.
- Utilize our LMS to track student progress, provide feedback, and communicate with students and parents.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs to stay updated on best practices in Home Science education.
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, such as organizing events, competitions, and workshops related to Home Science.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Stay updated on Home Science syllabi, pedagogy, and emerging trends in education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Home Science or a related field, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of three years of experience in teaching Home Science is required, with a strong track record of academic achievement and student growth. Familiarity with digital tools, online teaching platforms, and blended learning approaches is highly desirable.
