Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and conduct daily dance sessions for primary classes at G.d. Goenka Public School. Choreograph age-appropriate routines aligned with CBSE dance curriculum. Organize school annual day, sports day and inter-house dance competitions.
Teach classical, folk and contemporary dance forms to students aged 6–12. Prepare students for inter-school and district-level dance festivals. Maintain discipline during dance classes and ensure proper use of dance studio space.
Document student progress through periodic assessments and feedback sessions. Coordinate with music and art departments for cross-curricular dance integration. Participate in PTMs and share student progress with parents.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian institution. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in dance at primary level. Preference for candidates with CTET/TET qualification.
Experience in choreography and school-level competitions is desirable. Knowledge of Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi or contemporary forms is essential. Familiarity with CBSE dance syllabus will be an added advantage.
What You Get
Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Salary is negotiable for exceptionally strong candidates. Benefits include PF, ESI, paid leaves and professional development support.
