PRT Dance Teacher Position at St. Peters Convent School in Faridabad
St. Peters Convent School invites applications for the role of PRT (Practicing Teacher) Dance Teacher to join our vibrant arts program in Faridabad. As part of our creative curriculum, this position focuses on nurturing students’ passion for dance while ensuring alignment with school policies and educational standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping young minds through structured dance lessons, fostering discipline, creativity, and physical coordination.
The PRT Dance Teacher will design and deliver engaging dance classes covering various styles such as ballet, contemporary, folk, and classical Indian dance forms. Daily lessons will include warm-ups, technique drills, and performance-based activities to develop students’ skills. The teacher will also assist in organizing school events, including dance performances and cultural festivals, to showcase students’ talents to parents and the community. Collaboration with the school’s arts coordinator will ensure seamless integration of dance into the broader curriculum while maintaining high-quality instruction.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dance or a related field and possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for this role. With at least two years of teaching experience in dance or a related subject, applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to arts education. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior experience in teaching dance to school-age children will be highly valued.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.32,000, along with opportunities for professional growth within St. Peters Convent School.
