Role Summary
The TGT Dance Teacher vacancy in Faridabad is for a postgraduate professional who can translate classical, folk and contemporary forms into engaging lessons for Grades VI–X. You will plan annual dance curriculum, prepare students for inter-school festivals like Inter-School Dance Challenge and build a small dance ensemble that performs at Republic Day and Annual Day. Experience of working with 12–16 year olds is essential.
What You Will Do
Create a yearly Dance Teacher Job in Faridabad plan mapping Bharatanatyam basics, Bhangra footwork and freestyle expression across terms.
Choreograph group items for Dav Public School’s annual showcase so every learner gets a stage moment.
Conduct weekly 45-minute sessions for TGT batches, blending technique drills with fun warm-ups.
Organize a mid-year TGT Dance Exhibition where students perform solo and group pieces for parents.
Collaborate with the music teacher to synchronize live instruments with dance sequences.
Attend PTMs to show parents how dance builds confidence and discipline.
Document student progress through short video clips kept in a shared folder for reference.
Participate in Faridabad cluster workshops to stay updated on CBSE’s evolving art assessment patterns.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate in Dance from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least two years of Dance Teaching Job in Faridabad experience in a school setting.
Familiarity with CBSE’s Art Education syllabus for secondary classes is an advantage.
TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly emoluments range from Rs.25,000 to Rs.45,000 based on experience and qualifications.
