Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to help them grasp difficult concepts effectively.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate students’ understanding of Political Science, including quizzes, projects, and exams.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate Political Science concepts into interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Attend school meetings and workshops to stay updated on educational policies and best practices in Political Science teaching.
Participate in extracurricular activities related to political awareness, such as debates, model elections, and guest lectures.
Periodic Responsibilities
Organize guest lectures or workshops with invited speakers from political science backgrounds to enrich students’ learning.
Prepare and update teaching resources, including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and supplementary reading materials.
Assist in organizing school events that promote political awareness, such as essay competitions or mock parliamentary sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related field with at least four years of teaching experience.
Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for the PGT position at Dav Public School.
While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, having it would be an advantage for this role.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000. The position is based in Bhattu Kalan, Fatehabad, Haryana, and is full-time.
