Role Summary
We seek an experienced IIT Mathematics Teacher to join our Mathematics team at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan Sector 33 Gurugram in Gurugram, Haryana. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to IIT aspirants and other students, preparing them for competitive exams like JEE and other school exams.
What You Will Do
- Teach Mathematics to students of classes 8-12, with a focus on IIT Mathematics syllabus
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and tests to evaluate student progress
- Conduct regular class tests and unit tests to monitor student performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, such as online resources and educational software
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Participate in extracurricular activities that promote Mathematics learning
- Stay updated with new developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or related field (M.Sc., M.A., M.Com)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- Experience of teaching Mathematics in a school setting for at least 3 years
- Strong knowledge of IIT Mathematics syllabus and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
