Responsibilities
Teach Environmental Studies (Evs) to students from Class 1 to 12, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and school syllabus. Develop and deliver interactive lessons, experiments, and projects that promote environmental stewardship. Collaborate with the science and social science departments to integrate Evs themes across subjects where relevant. Organize field trips, workshops, and community engagement initiatives to reinforce classroom learning. Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and report cards while maintaining a focus on student-centric, inquiry-based teaching. Act as a mentor to junior teachers and support the school’s sustainability initiatives, such as waste management programs and green campus projects.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a minimum of two years of teaching experience. Possess a valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate, though not mandatory for this role. Have a strong passion for environmental education and a background in biology, geography, or related sciences preferred. Demonstrate adaptability to diverse student learning needs and a commitment to inclusive teaching practices. Familiarity with local environmental issues in Gurugram and Haryana will be an asset.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
