Role Summary
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced PGT Biology Teacher to join our team at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan Sector 33 Gurugram. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in grades 9 to 12 and contributing to the development of our school's academic programs.
What You Will Do
- Teach Biology to students in grades 9 to 12, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student learning and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of students.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and programs that promote student well-being and academic success.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote student learning and well-being.
- Participate in extracurricular activities that promote student development and well-being.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Biology and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.62,000 per month, in addition to other benefits, including health insurance, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
