What You Will Do
Plan and deliver daily English lessons covering grammar, prose, poetry, and writing skills for Classes 11 and 12.
Conduct regular assessments including unit tests, term exams, and viva sessions to evaluate comprehension and expression.
Organize inter-house declamation contests, literary quizzes, and book review sessions every month.
Prepare students for CBSE board exams with targeted practice papers and revision schedules.
Collaborate with the school’s language lab coordinator to integrate technology in teaching English grammar and vocabulary.
Mentor students for inter-school English elocution and creative writing competitions.
Maintain updated records of lesson plans, student progress, and resource materials in the school portal.
Attend monthly departmental meetings to align teaching strategies with school academic goals.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in English with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree with English as one of the teaching subjects.
Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification in English.
